Rehearsal Dinner

After our rehearsal at the Knowles Chapel @ Rollins College, we headed over to Mom's for our rehearsal dinner. I really wanted the rehearsal dinner to be personal and a reflection of what we are used to for normal family get-togethers. So, I asked my Mom to cook... people that know Mama Mia know she is famous for her meatballs and pasta and sauce. She did an amazing job, and went above and beyond what I even expected (as always!). I just wish I had more pictures!

One of my favorite touches was the surprise groom cake I had made for Aaron! The popular thing to do with groom cakes is to have them at the actual wedding, but that kind of messed with the look of our wedding haha, so I opted to have it as one of the desserts at our rehearsal dinner! Aaron is an artist, so I had his cake reflect that by having it in the shape of a paint pallette! Then, I brought it out to him and he was really surprised! It was also one of my bridesmaid's, Taylor's, birthday so we had a candle for her and all sang! It was great!
